At Northern Region Respite Services (NRRS), we are committed to building a more inclusive and supportive community for individuals with diverse abilities — and the families who care for them.
At NRRS services we are committed to small and inclusive ratios. That is why our Inclusion Program is a 1 – 4 ratio for staffing, safety and transportation purposes.
Rooted in compassion and accessibility, our programs are designed to meet people where they are, offering personalized support that empowers both caregivers and participants. We believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality respite care, and we’re here to ensure those services are within reach for every family.
Our Programs
HCRS Summer Rec Program
Our Summer Recreation Program generally begins July 1st and will run approximately 7 weeks, Monday to Friday, during the months of July and August.
Social Connect
This program is specifically designed for individuals who are within the community looking for support services to enhance and develop their life skills and independence.
NRRS Social Programs
At NRRS we currently offer two different no-fee programs or activities for your child or family to be involved in. They range from monthly to quarterly activities.
